DIYPatioDeck.com is excited to offer
Deck 'n Go's innovative Edge-Perfect edging products. Like the
tiles, the edging pieces come in either Merbau wood with anti-decadent coating or Ipe wood with
Biopin coating. Edge-Perfect edging is totally different from other similar products, though, for a number of reasons.
First of all, because it is permanently secured to the patio foundation (be it wood, concrete, or another material), it prevents lifting and shifting. Other edge pieces are not secured, and can lift or shift, allowing the deck tiles to do the same. Because Edge-Perfect is secured, the tiles are likewise secured. Similarly, unsecured edging allows deck tiles on an incline to shift and slide over time so the entire deck may creep down the incline. Edge-Perfect prevents this while still allowing tiles to expand and shrink with weather conditions without buckling.
Edge-Perfect pieces also form a continuous border around the tiles for a more finished look. Other edging pieces have gaps to accommodate the snap-style installation. In the same way, other edging pieces are not customizable because they cannot be cut, nor can they be attached to tiles that have been cut. Most patios and decks will not perfectly accommodate tiles, and some customization will need to be made. Other edging pieces do not take this into consideration and have no solution for this problem. DIY Patio Deck offers the perfect edging with Edge-Perfect. Since it doesn't need to be snapped to the tiles, it can even be installed on cut or otherwise customized tiles. It is because of this that we are really the only site offering do-it-yourselfers a means of creating beautifully finished patio decking options.
